Conakry, 14 September 2026 – A large delegation of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Handicrafts of Guinea (CCIAG), led by its president, Mamadou Baldé, was received at the Palais de la Colombe by the Prime Minister, Amadou Oury Bah.
The discussions focused in particular on the preparation of the upcoming UEMOA SME and Banks Expo, which will be held in Guinea for the first time from 20 to 23 November.
Presented as a platform for connecting SMEs with financing players, the Expo will bring together in particular banks, financial institutions and Fintechs.
According to the CCIAG’s first vice-president, Eric Benjamin Colle, this meeting is a major opportunity for Guinean SMEs, which account for a significant share of the national entrepreneurial fabric and are seeking financing to grow their activities.
