General Terms and Conditions of Use and Registration

These general terms and conditions (hereinafter 'Terms') govern access to the website and participation in the Banks and SME Expo Guinea (hereinafter the 'Event'), organized by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts of Guinea (CCIAG) and the Permanent Secretariat of the Banks and SME Expo. By accessing the site or registering for the Event, you unconditionally accept these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website and/or registering for the Event, you acknowledge having read these Terms and accept them in their entirety. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use this site or register for the Event. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the site. It is your responsibility to regularly check this page.

2. Eligibility and Registration

Registration for the Event is open to professionals from the banking and financial sector, SMEs, microfinance institutions, private sector support organizations, investors, technical and financial partners, and any person demonstrating a legitimate interest in the themes of the Event. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to refuse any registration that does not meet the defined eligibility criteria. The information provided during registration must be accurate, complete, and up to date. Any failure to provide accurate information may result in cancellation of the registration.

3. Fees and Payment Terms

Registration fees are indicated on the website in Guinean Francs (GNF) and are subject to change until the registration deadline. The applicable fees are those in effect at the time of validation of your registration. Payment may be made by cash, cheque, bank transfer, Mobile Money, in-kind, or by a mixed payment method. For payments by transfer, registration is only definitive after actual receipt of funds in the organizer's bank account. Any bank charges are the responsibility of the participant.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Registration and participation fees are final and non-refundable. Any cancellation must be notified in writing to contact@salonbanquespme.org. In the event of an unforeseen situation or inability to attend, you are free to transfer your stand to a third party or company, as participation fees are final. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Event in case of force majeure. In such cases, registration fees will be fully refunded, without further compensation.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the website (texts, images, videos, logos, trademarks, downloadable documents) is the exclusive property of the Banks and SME Expo Guinea or its partners and is protected by Guinean and international intellectual property laws. Any reproduction, representation, modification, distribution, or exploitation, in whole or in part, of the site content is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization. The name 'Banks and SME Expo Guinea', the SBPME logo, and all associated distinctive signs are protected trademarks.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Banks and SME Expo Guinea and its organizers disclaim all liability for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the website, the inability to access it, or participation in the Event. The organizers shall not be held liable for theft, loss, or damage to participants' personal belongings during the Event. Participants are encouraged to take out personal insurance covering these risks. The website may contain links to third-party sites. We exercise no control over these sites and disclaim all liability regarding their content or practices.

7. Participant Conduct

Participants undertake to behave professionally and respectfully throughout the Event. Any inappropriate, discriminatory, harassing behavior or behavior violating the laws and regulations in force in the Republic of Guinea may result in the immediate exclusion of the participant without refund. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to take any measures it deems necessary to ensure the safety and smooth running of the Event.

8. Personal Data

Personal data collected in connection with the use of the site and registration for the Event is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By registering, you consent to the collection and processing of your data for the purposes described in said policy. You also authorize the organizers to take photographs and videos during the Event and to use them for promotional and communication purposes, unless you expressly object.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Guinean law, including the provisions of the OHADA Uniform Act on general commercial law and Guinean Law No. 2015/019/AN on the protection of personal data. Any dispute relating to the interpretation or execution of these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Conakry, Republic of Guinea, after failure of an amicable resolution attempt.
